Raising Student Voice & Participation (RSVP)

The Raising Student Voice and Participation program is a student engagement program for middle schools sponsored by the National Association of Student Councils and the National Association of Secondary School Principals.

At Santa fe Trail, the RSVP process asks students to lead, govern and to facilitate summits as part of a dialogue process that will expand their involvement in school and community life. Students speak out and take action on issues in our school and our community that are important to them.

WEB & Student Leadership

WEB (Where Everyone Belongs) is a middle school transition program that welcomes sixth and seventh graders and makes them feel comfortable throughout the first year of their middle school experience. WEB is built on the belief that students want to and can help other students succeed. The WEB middle school transition program trains members of the eighth grade class to be WEB Leaders; as positive role models, WEB Leaders are motivators, leaders and teachers who guide sixth and seventh graders to discover what it takes to be successful in middle school.
